Managing Director
John joined Souter Investments in 2008 having previously held roles in venture capital, FMCG and private practice.
A qualified Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, and with a degree in Business Studies and Accountancy from the University of Edinburgh, John has completed, managed and realised deals across multiple jurisdictions and sectors. He sits on the Board of a number of portfolio companies and is also secretary of The Souter Charitable Trust.
John was appointed joint Managing Director alongside Calum Cusiter in January 2021.
