Head of Finance
Allan joined Souter Investments as an accountant in March 2016 and is now Head of Finance. Previously he worked in Business Services with a medium sized accountancy practice in Edinburgh for 10 years.
Allan manages the Finance Department at Souter Investments, both overseeing the smooth running of this small department and rolling his sleeves up to get into the nitty gritty detail.
Allan qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) in 2004 having previously worked in postdoctoral research at the University of Edinburgh. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1992 with a BSc (hons) in Genetics and in 1997 with a PhD in Molecular Biology.
