Souter Investments Grows Investment Team

Souter Investments is pleased to announce the addition of two investment executives to its team as it continues to grow its portfolio and increase its investment activity.

Stuart Dunlop joins as an Investment Analyst having previously spent 5 years in EY’s Corporate Finance team, where he worked on a range of public and private sector mandates in the infrastructure, transport and energy sectors.

Rhea Ghosal also joins as an Investment Analyst having joined from Anglo American’s Corporate Development team covering various transactions and strategic initiatives across their portfolio. Rhea also spent 4 years in EY’s Financial Service Assurance practice.

Both qualified accountants, Stuart and Rhea will work alongside the existing Souter Investments’ team of 13 led by Andy Macfie, John Berthinussen and Calum Cusiter, focussing on deal origination and managing Souter’s portfolio of more than 25 investment in unquoted companies.

These appointments cap a busy 2020 for Souter having completed investments in Climate Care, a B Corporation providing businesses and governments with carbon offset services, sustainable development programmes, environmental and social impact measurement and project development; LIKEZERO, a leading provider of proven, next generation intelligent data capture technology for the financial services industry spun out from PwC; and Sapphire Systems, one of the UK’s largest providers of enterprise software applications, services and support alongside Horizon Capital.
