During March 2024, Buckthorn Partners announced the 100% acquisition of Acteon from KKR in partnership with One Equity Partners and the Arab Energy Fund. Souter Investments invested as part of the Buckthorn led syndicate to recapitalise and focus the business on the survey, geosciences and engineering consulting divisions where Acteon is particularly well-placed to service growing opportunities in the offshore wind sector.
