Newcastle Tool and Gauge (“NTG”) is a precision engineering business based in Gateshead. It manufactures mission critical high value components for use in Severe Duty Engineering Applications where its products operate in high temperature, high pressure or high stress environments.
NTG’s end clients are prominent players across the oil and gas, subsea, power generation, food packaging and renewables sectors amongst others.
Souter Investments is part of an equity syndicate led by Ignite Growth. The acquisition facilitated shareholder succession and also provided funds to accelerate NTG’s ambitious organic and inorganic growth plans.
