The new PolskiBus.com routes will connect Wroclaw with Bydgoszcz, Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Opole, Poznan, Rzeszow and Zakopane plus Berlin and Prague.

Existing services to Lodz, Warsaw and Prague will also be enhanced with increased frequency.  Many of the new services will benefit from free on-board catering and refreshments.

The new PolskiBus.com Wroclaw hub will offer 40 services a day from Wroclaw to 10 major Polish cities and two international capital cities, Berlin and Prague.  Over 160 new jobs will be created by the new Wroclaw hub.  Since its launch in June 2011, PolskiBus.com has generated more than 500 new jobs across Poland.

Barry Pybis, PolskiBus.com CEO, added: “This major new investment responds to thousands of requests from our customers to expand our services and introduce new routes.  It continues our commitment to driving up the quality of travel for our customers.”

In total, five PolskiBus.com services will operate from the Wroclaw hub:

Mr Pybis added: “Since PolskiBus.com launched in June 2011 we have carried almost 5 million passengers.  We are delighted to continue the expansion of our national and international network of high quality, affordable express services across Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.”

The 30 new PolskiBus.com coaches are high specification, fuel efficient and environmentally friendly TDX27 Astromegas manufactured by Van Hool in Belgium.

Each vehicle will be equipped with free Wi-Fi and in-seat electric charging points for laptops and mobile phones.  In addition, the coaches will offer reclining leather seats, air conditioning, toilet facilities and disabled access.

Piotr Bezulski, PolskiBus.com Managing Director, said: “As well as offering the best value intercity fares in Poland across the most comprehensive national network of services, we want to play our part in reducing the environmental impact of travel.
